Profile Build Group received a make safe request after a truck had reversed into the metal awning above the front door of the building. The metal awning had been bent and the occupants were concerned that the sheet metal could come loose, causing injury.
The following was conducted to remedy the issue:
- Profile Build Group’s make safe team was dispatched immediately to site, and temporary fencing was used to restrict access to the area to prevent injury if the awning fell.
- The sheet metal was cut free, and the sharp metal was disposed of safely
- A new awning and frame was then manufactured and installed including painting to the original colour
